L’albero – Guesthouse is a short walk from the center of Santarcangelo and near the train station. It is in a quiet area inside a residential building with three flours and plenty of parking spaces. The rooms for 2, 3, or 4 people are newly renovated with new beds, furniture and joyful colors. The mattresses are large and very comfortable. We do not have bunk beds. It is possible to book the rooms as a single or share the room with other travellers. Every floor has two common bathrooms with a shower and bathtub. Surrounding our building is a large garden with marvellous pine trees, a great place to relax.

Twenty nine thousand miles around the world in a year, 2007. Bali, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Brazil were the stages of my trip. It was a long journey outside and within myself searching for the light in the eyes which only great teachers carry and no one can give to you. That light still I have not found. I do not know the extent of my search but I was able to hold a small spark within. The same spark of light that indicated what I should do when I have grown up. For a year I stayed in hostels, guesthouses, lose men and I returned home in love with these meeting and cultural exchange places where different generations, ideas, thoughts, opinions, acceptance of the other, friends, small talk, laughter, shared meals, advise, sharing…… could all come together. I saw all kinds large, small, beautiful, ugly, dirty, clean, cold and warm with a heart. So through my journey I have created my guesthouse: a warm open place to feel at home when you are not at home. Travelling is an unforgettable life experience but sometimes it can be exhausting, difficult, especially if the traveller is a woman alone. How many husbands, and boyfriends I had to invent! So then, a special welcome to woman also men and families! Many travels! Do not tell me how much you have studied but how much you have travelled!
